A Team Funvic BrasilInvest São José dos Campos terá uma novidade no Tour de San Luis (19 a 25 de janeiro). Trata-se do argentino Daniel Díaz, primeiro reforço do conjunto joseense para a temporada 2015 e que fará na Argentina sua estreia pela equipe brasileira.
Daniel Díaz tem 25 anos e foi campeão do Tour de San Luis em 2013. Naquele ano, Alex Diniz, seu novo companheiro de equipe, foi o terceiro colocado na classificação geral e venceu uma etapa. Já nesta temporada, o argentino sagrou-se campeão nacional de resistência e foi vice no contrarrelógio individual.
A Funvic é a única equipe brasileira confirmada no Tour de San Luis até o momento. A prova argentina é considerada uma das mais importantes do continente americano e atrai diversas equipes Pro Tour. Em 2015, Omega Pharma, Movistar, Ag2r, Europcar, Lampre-Merida, Cannondale-Garmin e Katusha participarão. Ao todo são esperadas 26 equipes entre Pro Teams, Pro Continental, Continental e seleções nacionais.
KWIATKOWSKI DISPUTA O TOUR DE SAN LUIS EM JANEIRO
A lista de ciclistas que competirão na Argentina inclui o atual campeão mundial Michal Kwiatkowski (Omega Pharma), Mark Cavendish (Omega Pharma), Daniel Moreno (Katusha), Carlos Betancur (Ag2r), Thomas Voeckler (Europcar) e Ariel Richeze (Lampre-Merida).
A Team Funvic deverá ter na argentina, além de Daniel Díaz, Alex Diniz, Magno Prado, Antônio Garnero, Kleber Ramos e Francisco Chamorro.
