Novo caso de furto na Itália

De acordo com o jornal italiano Messaggero Veneto, a Cannondale, uma das principais equipes do Pro Tour, sofreu um furto estimado em 100 mil euros em sua base, localizada na comuna de Sesto al Reghena (província de Pordenone), norte da Itália.

Ainda segundo o jornal, os ladrões fugiram com diversos componentes e quadros, entre eles os das bicicletas de Peter Sagan e Ivan Basso, líderes do time. A equipe está apurando a perda.

No momento a Cannondale participa do Tour do Qatar. Já Peter Sagan participa a partir do dia 18 do Tour de Omã.

A Cannondale foi a segunda equipe italiana a sofrer furto em poucos meses. Em novembro de 2013, a Lampre-Merida teve sua sede em Usmate-Velate, a 20 km de Milão, invadidada por ladrões. Na ocasião, grupos, quadros, carros de apoio e bicicletas completas foram levadas.
