Começou a todo vapor o Tour de France 2018. Depois de um começo tranquilo, Chris Froome foi forçado a sair da estrada a cerca de cinco quilômetros do final, e o colombiano Fernando Gaviria venceu no primeiro dia da compeição, em Fontenay-le-Comte.

A primeira etapa foi de Noirmoutier-en-l’Île a Fontenay-le-Comte e cobriu 201 km. Froome chegou a se recuperar e concluir o percurso, mas quase um minuto atrás do colombiano. Nairo Quintana também perdeu tempo depois de sofrer um problema mecânico perto do final.
Ao longo das 21 etapas, os atletas enfrentarão 25 escaladas de montanhas. A próxima etapa também exige velocidade e acontece amanhã (8).
Esta é a 105ª edição do Tour.
O Tour de France termina no dia 29 de julhor na Champs-Élysées, em Paris.
