Daniel Dias ganha prêmio

O nadador paralímpico Daniel Dias, esperança de ouro para o Brasil no Rio 2016, levou para casa pela terceira vez o prêmio Laureus, concedido aos maiores esportistas do mundo.

O atleta foi indicado ao prêmio na categoria “melhor paradesportista” e venceu graças a sua participação no Mundial Paralímpico de Natação, em Glasgow, onde totalizou sete medalhas de ouro e uma de prata, e também no Parapan-americano de Toronto, onde faturou oito medalhas de ouro.

A cerimônia de premiação aconteceu na segunda-feira (18), mas Daniel não compareceu ao evento na Alemanha porque está em preparação para o Open Internacional de Natação, a partir desta sexta (22) até domingo (24), no Rio de Janeiro.
